Snocross

Last weekend we layered ourselves up and headed on out to Rio Tinto for the Snocross and Freestyle Western Nationals. Oh man was it COLD!! We went out with Jes and Mat and some of their family and friends. Nothing like a couple rounds of hot chocolate, nachos and some churros! The Sledneck crew was there doing the freestyle jumps. How is it they can make doing a backflip on a snowmobile look easy?! Okay nothing about making a big heavy snow machine do a backflip looks easy. I've seen it on movies but never in real life and it's awesome!

The best part of the races was the start out the gate. Try sqeezing 15 snowmobiles through one tiny corner. Yeah, it doesn't go over so well and that was why it was so fun to watch!! Plus all the other corners that guys were flying off of and getting run over. These 2 snowmobiles were so tangled up the riders just had to leave them there and wait on the side of the track until the race ended. Needless to say their snowmobiles were quite a hazard at times. Fun night out in the freezing cold weather!

Good times. Sounds like it was pretty wild to see the back flip
