"Wicked Winds"

Nothing like a category 2 hurricane coming through your town. A 102 mph wind gust can do some damage. Dannon called me early in the morning and asked if I had seen the news. If it weren't for him telling me about it I would never have known it was that bad. He was at work and said he had trailers at the shop twirling around and things were just getting shredded. I was glued to the news all day while checking in on family members who were in the middle of it. Meanwhile, Dannon drove up to the ranch to grab all the chainsaws and then out he went to help cleanup.
The girls and I headed up to Dave's house to help and Bindi did a really good job raking needles and picking up shingles with Sophie:)
There was major cleanup to be done all over. It was really neat to see neighbors, families, and communities coming together to help get things cleaned up.
