Our Weekend Getaway

This weekend was such a nice break for us. It is always nice to go up to the Ranch, especially when everything is so busy busy busy! The guys had a fun time playing in the 30 ft snow drift as well as the rest of the snow covered area. As for me, I went into hybernation for 2 days. It was especially different for me and Dann cause it was Champ's first time up at his home away from home. He did so good up there! I tell you, he's a natural! As you can see in the pictures above, Champ and Tuff were pretty good buddy, except when Tuff was lying down. Tuff didn't like Champ bugging him. He also loves playing around in the snow. He even was bombing off the drift with the boys! I didn't see because once again, I was in hybernation. While the guys went off to the Priesthood session, us girls did the usual, painting our nails and doing facials. This time little Porter was a little curious and decided to put his mouth around the polish. Whoops! It just happened to dry but luckily it came off that night. He was pretty cute! To me, the best part of our getaway was sustaining our Prophet, President Monson. There was something different about him to me. It was during the solemn assembly that I knew he was a living Prophet. It was a neat experience that I'm glad I had and will remember for the rest of my life.
