Life at "The Office"

On the agenda: beach...maybe squeeze in some food later. We had Mission Bay on one side of the street and Mission Beach on the other side. We wanted to play in the waves so we simply walked across the street to the part of the beach called "The Office". Can't beat that! Especially with all the gear that kids come with. The kids loved jumping over the waves and running from them. There was a lot of exploring and playing in the sand too. They could stay there all day!

Our hotel had some beautiful landscaping and streams that ran between buildings that had lots of ducks in them. Well the girls love ducks so that was a bonus. They also had some birds there that were really pretty and would talk as you walked by. Also a bonus since my kids love the movie Rio.

That night we headed to Old Town and went to the Mormon Battalion Museum. It was really neat and they had a cute place out back that the kids got to pan for gold. Then we went to eat and it had to be Mexican! Good thing that's all there was! We got into one that would take such a large group and they had a balloon guy come around. I'm pretty sure he spotted us a mile away with all our kids. $$$ But the kids loved their balloons and dinner was a success! It was getting pretty late so a couple of us took off for the cars. You'd think we were the museum with all the looks we got with all our kids and strollers!
